Millbrook licensed taxis need the MOT and the council compliance inspection every year, even when the vehicle is under three years old. Booked together they're done in one visit for £75.

Repairs are usually the same day where parts allow, so you're back on the rank. Trade labour rates for taxi drivers — ask Paul. If the repairs are done elsewhere, a partial MOT retest is £10.

How often does a Millbrook taxi need testing?
Every year — an MOT and a council compliance inspection, even if the vehicle is under three years old. We do both in one visit.
How much is it?
MOT £45, taxi inspection £36, or both together for £75 — that's £6 off doing them separately. Meter testing is priced separately; tick it when you book and we'll confirm the price.
Can I book the MOT and taxi test together online?
Yes. Pick "MOT + taxi test" above, enter your reg and choose a time. It's one appointment and one booking, and the combined price is applied automatically.
What if it fails?
You get a photographed, itemised quote on your phone. Approve it and we fix it, usually the same day, and the MOT retest is free when we do the repairs.
